I have more than 25 years of experience teaching graduate level courses in statistics and probability. My scientific work is devoted mainly to the theory of probability, statistics, mathematical modeling and applied probability

In my research and teaching I have used the computer extensively, especially in data processing, editing, programming and in application of statistical techniques. I am expert with SPSS, STATISTICA and SAS, among others.

I have provided research support to academic projects in a wide variety of areas including aquaculture, biology, education, economic and technical subjects as well. I have provided statistical consulting for numerous master’s and Ph.D. theses.

My goals when consulting are: listen to the client, ask probing questions, identify the client’s real problem, communicate it back to the client and finally provide the BAA (best answer available) within the time and resources available.
